ABOUT US

My favorite Christmas gift when I was 9 was a Kodak camera and flash unit!
Little did I know that would be the start to a great love affair!
Little did my family realize that I would be popping out from no-where snapping "funny" pictures of them when they weren't watching!

When my kids were in school, I found myself bored so I got a part-time job at JCPenney Portrait Studios~ and ten years later I was the studio manager and trainer. Over the years I have been priveledged to attend many workshops and seminars with  seasoned and talented photographers as instructors.
It was only natural to open my own studio which has grown from the film era to its current digital venue.
I hope you can catch my passion for this great art medium especially when you or your family are the stars!

Note from Susan:
I am a 'romantic' at heart and so wedding photography is not just about the income, but about the circle of life.
I love meeting young couples and getting to know them--seeing them through their engagement photos, wedding day, and then continuing on with their pregnancy memories  and newborn portraits!
After that we will shoot the family portrait and yearly Christmas card~next,  their child's senior graduation portraits and full circle with that first child's wedding photography!   (Whew! Life goes too quickly!!!)
And there ya have it! The full circle of life in special captured moments!
