Most Seniors bring between 3-7 outfits- sometimes just different shirts with a pair of favorite jeans. sometimes more elaborate!
Iron your clothes and put on hangers if appropriate. I will have a rack for your use.
A solid (dark-color) long sleeved sweater for gals and white or dark longsleeved shirt that is solid for guys works best for your yearbook photograph.
You should choose mostly casual outfits that "are you" and something dressy if desired. Choose colors that you feel good in!
Don't forget accessories (jewlery, ties, hair items or sunglasses and hats) Different shoes for different outfits and plan on some barefoot shots as well!
Pay attention to your nails for close-up shots and toe-nails if choosing barefoot shots.
Soft colors and neutrals (gray, khaki, beige) work great for outdoor portraits. Darker colors tend to be more slimming. Choose colors you feel good in or have gotten compliments when wearing that shade.
Gals:
You should come with your hair done and makeup applied but bring additional makeup for touch-ups. Even if you don't usually wear much makeup you should apply some to help your eyes look more dramatic. Please stay away from low cut necklines as we do a lot of poses that may enhance that area and create a look that you may not want!
Guys:
Cut your hair two weeks before pictures. Shave early morning (3-4 hrs before portrait) to avoid razor burn and cuts.
GLASSES: although we offer digital editing, sometimes the glare is right over your eyes and it is very hard to edit that area, so it is suggested that you remove your lens prior to the session and just wear the frames (ask the technician @ your local eye center to remove the lens). That will ensure that your eyes will photograph their best and look more natural.
****Bring a favorite CD or two to listen to as we shoot the inside portraits...get relaxed and have fun! Please refrain from any language on your choice of CD.
PROPS: Please bring things that are personal to you such as; trophys,
sports items like, balls, jerseys, skate/snow boards & awards. Also musical items/instruments, and hobbie items like collections- anything that makes the pictures special and unique to you!
